Hi Joe, thanks so much to you and the BFSP crew. It was an excellent weekend. The grounds were so much dryer than we expected. We started out by putting on the solar filter early on Saturday. We had many people stop and take a look. It was nice to see some of the faces and talk with so many people from so many places. I really enjoy the daytime viewing with a chance to meet so many new people. We had some awesome views of the southern sky later on. M8, M20,M21,M22 and M24 were some of the best that I've pulled out of the sky with my 10" dob. Too bad it got soupy early on. The double cluster is also one of my favorites.

One other high point of the weekend was when my daughter Sarah got to announce some of the ticket numbers for the drawings. I can't believe she actually pulled out the announcer's, I think his name was Jim, ticket, when he asked her to. I've got to get her to work on pulling out one of my tickets next year. The one prize, where there was only 3 tickets in the can, should have been mine though. 2 of those tickets were mine and the other one was the winner. Oh well go figure!!! Did the ticket holder for ticket #572909 ever come forward???
